BROOK CREEK NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION
---

Welcome to the Brook Creek Neighborhood Association web page.  The mission of the BCNA is to stabilize and maintain the neighborhood as a quality, primarily single-family residential neighborhood, and to preserve the green space valued by our residents.  This mission is accomplished by encouraging and providing for the participation of residents and property owners in the maintenance, planning and development of the neighborhood.

We have general meetings eight times a year.  We meet on the second Wednesday of the month from September through December and from February through May.  Except for the September meeting, we meet at the East Lawrence Recreation Center at 7:00 p.m.  In September, we have our annual pot-luck dinner at the Brook Creek Park shelter house, and start at 6:30 p.m.  All residents or property owners in the neighborhood are welcome and encouraged to attend the meetings and make their voice heard.  Membership dues are $1.00 per year per person.  A monthly newsletter is delivered to each home in the neighborhood during the eight months that we have general meetings.

It is our hope that this website will allow us to discuss issues of importance to the neighborhood in more detail than the newsletter allows, as well as allow us to stay in touch with the residents during our ìoffî months.

If you have questions, please feel free to contact our coordinator at the BCNA e-mail address:  brookcreek@msn.com.  We get a lot of unsolicited mail at that address, so please mention the BCNA web page in the subject line.

All residents are invited to join us on September 12 at the shelter house in Brook Creek Park.  The BCNA provides the chicken and soft drinks.  Residents should bring their favorite side dish or dessert and eating utensils for themselves.

Stay tuned for updates and more information.
